1) All of the hot hookers in Honolulu are actually guys.2) My ex is stationed there as part of her plot to shit out a bastard kid on every army base. She will have sex with you, but it will be awful and she will threaten suicide as soon as you try to get away.

Plenty of hiking and climbing.Learn to surf.Learn to scuba.Visit the other islands.Stay away from tourists.Learn to be a minority. If you can make it out there, do it. Hawaii is a fantastic place to live.

<--- stationed in Hawaiiit's only about $100 for a plane trip to Hawaii, and the Kilauea Military Camp is an awesome place to go to see the volcanoesbeaches beaches beachessnorkeling is much less expensive than scuba diving and just as funsurfing is fun and difficult to learn...White Plains Beach offers very cheap rental boards ($5/hr) and some lessonsLuau's galorehiking the waterfalls, blowholes, Diamond Headbe careful where you decide to live...some places are much better/cheaper/safer than others

A few of my favorite things from around the hotel district in Honolulu:Yogurtland on University AveTodai Sushi buffet on Ala Moana Blvd$7 steak plate from food vendor van on Kuhio Ave (right next to a shrimp vendor, if you like shrimp)Perry's Smorgy restaurant on Kuhio Outrigger Catamaran + snorkeling. Saw a sea turtle, sting ray, etc. Love sailing. Don't do the Maita'i Catamaran. The Maita'i is too big and calm, and those guys gave us no jib and double-reefed mainsail -------------I thought Diamond Head was pretty overrated. Driving along Waimanalo Bay was way more scenic than hanging out at the top of Diamond Head (pretty crowded). Sea Life Park is not worth the $30 regular admissionLanikai Beach area is awesome. We had some fun kayaking there too. Bring snorkel gear (super cheap to buy at any ABC store).

- oahu is a lot of fun. i could spend days on end sitting on the beach on the north shore watching surfers. fall/winter is big wave season with lots of competitions and whatnot. sunset beach is my favorite. - polynesian cultural center is a fun day and they have a pretty accurate luau each night. it is run by the mormon church, but i will give them a lot of credit - i really never felt like they were cramming anything down my throat. in fact, no one even mentioned anything about religion the entire time we were there. kids who work there are super nice and helpful. - manoa falls - watch a hula show - dole plantation is pretty neat - beaches all over the island - just drive around the island - so beautiful... - chinaman's hat is lovely at sunset - need hike up to the top of diamond head - hike up to the makapu lighthouse, lovely view - chinatown is ok... but you can get awesome asian food in honolulu - fly $100/p round trip to maui: haleakala volcano is AWESOME (you can bike down it too - tons of fun), drive the road to hana AND take the southern route along the south side of haleakala, snorkel or scuba molokini, iao needle, take a heliocoptor tour, eat at kimo's in lahaina (OMF best food i've ever eaten), black sand beachesin about a month, i'll be able to tell you about kauai and the big island. they are only $100/p roundtrip from honolulu too.
