Could you please all re-learn the use of adjectives? I speak of course of the common use of the truncated adjective "democrat" to describe anything that comes from the Democratic Party or other left-leaning agenda. In the same sense that it would sound equally stupid and senseless to describe any corollary policy as "republic."Just. Stop. I'm serious. Maybe it was hilarious for awhile when Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or one of those other numbskulls was promoting it, but it just sounds retarded, and cheapens the language. Hence this plea goes double to any of you out there who believe English should the official language. And before anybody gives me any smart-alec remark about how there's nothing "democratic" about policies pushed by Democrats, I'd remind you that the last eight years of Republican rule have shown nothing respecting the principles of Constitutional Republicanism either. So just. stop. already.[Edited on September 4, 2009 at 4:30 PM. Reason : NNNNNNNN]

I hear ya, it's stupid in fact. I just refer to leftist ideas as communist or socialist.

I would actually like some proof of this. From my memory, most people who slant the democrats (or is that democratics) on TWW use terms like "liberal" or "pinko" or "commie."But I could be wrong. I am a conservative.

Again, they both work. Exactly why is one method linking the "preferred" one over another?

If both methods work, then both ways sufficiently accomplish the task, proving that you're an idiot.

I think hippy has an age requirement to be counted as authentic.

this is why we can't have nice things That being said, I concurr with the spirit of the OP. There is way too much use of perjorative adjectives and asinine nit-picking over link posting and minor spelling errors. But I suppose it's fun to poke fun at style when you have no substance.[Edited on September 6, 2009 at 6:55 PM. Reason : speaking of people being stupid ^]
