I'm back!

Got sentenced to 1 year in jail... BCD

Got paroled at 7 months...

And I went to a military jail = cake walk.

There were only 2 other people there for most of my stay...

so heres the big question.

you're out, you're apparantly in one piece. 7 months for 100k. was it worth it?

I would have preferred more money... but yea... military jail is a cake walk... just sit around bored all day and still went to the chow hall to eat daily...

yeah i figured it wouldnt be so bad. lots of those guys are used to not getting laid much and accept it without resorting to facerape and sodomy also i'd imagine that being on the same team helps avoid most of the petty shit you see in 'real' jails and prisons.

but im wondering. i mean the military has a bigtime dress code and rules on how you do everything anyways, you might as well be in jail (mentally)

does much of that change? ie do they make you wear a jumpsuit, or just your normal standard issue crap. also was there PT punishment, etc?

trying to get a grasp on how much of a difference there is. also where the time was served

We wore our ABU's all day and pt gear after 4 pm... No pt punishment... we had a gym and basketball court that we got to use mwf for an hour...

but it was basically like being back in basic...
when you first get there they yell and scream and make you do everything high speed...
after that they slowly let until after about 4 months... then you might as well just work with them...

way way different than real jail.

after about 30 days your custody status gets upgraded and you get to be checked out by squadrons on base for details... with no gaurds there... and get to go to the chow hall for meals...

but remember... this was a level 1 facility at Kirtland AFB in NM...
Level 2 at Charleston or Miramar and Level 3 at Leavenworth are alot different... the people there are in for a hell of a lot longer time...

leavenworth is basically full of killers and rapists, right? or do i watch too much NCIS?

that sounds like a breeze, though. i'd love to hear more of the actual story of the bank stuff. send a PM if you dont wanna disclose here. but you might as well, you did the time for it (assuming you allocuted everything)

[Edited on September 4, 2009 at 7:17 AM. Reason : also, how about visits? were you able to see family and friends much?]

There isnt much more to tell about the bank parts... I found and exploited several loopholes in the systems of several banks...

and you watch too much NCIS..

Level 1 = Nonviolent/non sexual <1
Level 2 = 1 - 7 years
Level 3 (Leavenworth) = 7+ years

Most of the sex offenders (rape and minor) go to Charleston

yeah, do you actually still have it? because i'd probably take 7 months of what you went through for $100k tax-free

probably.

i'm really surprised that you could steal $100k and they'd let you have it after only 7 months of jailtime (military or otherwise)

sounds like it was a good investment...kudos!
