very shortly. I'm in inside sales for a boiler feed/deaerator systems manufacturer, and one of our salesmen put in his notice today. What we do: I work with our network of manufacturer's representatives to configure and quote systems for their customers, which range from small companies to manufacturing to engineering firms and contractors. We work on projects as small as individual feed systems for churches and schools...all the way up to boiler feedwater deaeration systems for large manufacturing facilities, hospitals, petrochemical processors, etc. We also put together fuel pumping systems for boilers, hydronic systems, auxiliary generator systems, and such.Necessary skills would include a reasonable engineering theory background involving thermodynamics and closed fluid flows. You also need to have good communication skills and the ability to build good rapport with our representatives, and to a lesser extent end users/clients. Some sales experience, especially in an industrial environment, is a definite plus. Here's a chance to work in a manufacturing and sales environment that won't rely heavily on engineering theory and practice, but will still get you good practical experience. PM me if you want to discuss further.
