Here's the scoop:- created bing cash back acct. (used my gmail acct to create windows live ID) and purchased a computer. - Received the account confirmation email from Bing, confirmed the account, then processed the computer order. - Later I logged on to check my cashback amount, and it was present.- Today I go to log back in, and it tells me that my windows live ID is not valid.-WTF?[Edited on August 26, 2009 at 11:53 AM. followed link from email-and contrary to the norm the capslock was off. - I am referring to the statement given that my "windows live ID is incorrect"... not the password. Upon trying to get my PW emailed to me, i received the error message that my ID is incorrect (but how can that be if I already have emails from Bing)

yeah, i'm sure it didn't go away...try again later and if you still have problems, let them know...you have the emails as proof that your account was created and that you earned cashback...from what i've read on forums like slickdeals, the bing folks have been very helpful with minimal fuss

^yep. when it was still live.com I had a problem logging in one day, sent a mail about it and got a personal response in like 6-8 hours letting me know they were doing some kind of maintenance and apologizing for the inconvienance.
