pics?
8/19/2009 4:36:56 PM
I think you're right to want it changed, but you should just pony up the five bucks and start over. Hint: Don't put any variant of "little," "babe," "girl," "lady," "State," "wolf," or "pack" in your name, nor any number likely to change or lose meaning (e.g. your age).

I wanted to change my name a long time ago, as it is missing the letter 'd' at the end. That little oversight has proven to be quite a source of humor over the years. I'm glad I couldn't/didn't change it.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I suppose I will keep to my "cheap ass" ways and not shove out the $5 for a new SN. I don't get on here much! I have been lately. As for the pics, I may avoid that for now since I heard you all really like the lady folks.
8/20/2009 11:23:45 AM
could've solved our chance problem years ago if it was one user name per SSNI'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.

We should be able to buy a new name without it affecting our post count
5/6/2010 5:19:03 PM
^agreed
5/6/2010 5:48:00 PM
I'd just like to be able to renew my premium membership without it affecting my credit nerd score
5/6/2010 11:52:18 PM
the only way i would consider this would be like xbox live stylecosts $10-20can only change it once every 6 monthsstatus name would remain 'formerly _______' for some period of time
5/7/2010 12:04:08 AM
If all the original stats of the user account were saved (post count and registration date), I think it would be a good idea. You'd want to set the price high enough that you don't get inundated with requests. It could actually be a good source of revenue for the site.
5/7/2010 12:44:52 AM
probably not actually. after the initial hype, it would be rarely used (except for by BubbleBobble) and would probably end up confusing people not familiar with the process, or pissing off noobs with 3 posts who don't want to use their unity id as their username, but don't want to pay the fee to change it cus they've only been registered a week[Edited on May 7, 2010 at 12:49 AM. Reason : same reason alias revenue isn't a desirable revenue stream]
5/7/2010 12:48:14 AM
5/7/2010 12:55:11 AM
I mean, I'm talking about setting the price at $50-75 or more... I don't think there would be a lot of people who would abuse it at that price. As long as you've got the programming chops, if it was automated, seems like a fast and easy way to make some dough.
5/7/2010 1:06:19 AM
5/7/2010 1:52:03 AM
^ nervous laughter proves my point. bubblebobble types would be shut out from participating in this program
5/7/2010 3:00:00 PM
50 to 75?wtf are you smoking trollinari?not a single person would pay.
5/7/2010 5:00:49 PM
I disagree. People used to pay about that much money to change servers/factions on WoW.
5/7/2010 7:24:27 PM
oh ok well as long as it was for WoW then i guess its ok
5/7/2010 7:39:26 PM
