Just moved to Carrboro due to the fiancee going to grad school at UNC (yeah all the blue sickens me) and I need a vet for our two dogs. She used to live in Hickory with the dogs so it is not like we even had a vet in Raleigh so we have no idea of a good one to go to in the area.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I worked there for 3 years (until last week b/c I'm going to grad school at NCSU starting next week). And I plan to take my pets there for as long I live in the triangle area, even though I am now sadly without any sort of employee discount now. They are located in the Plaza where West Main dead ends into Highway 54 along with an Arbys, a Kangaroo Gas station, a Food Lion, an ABC store, a Sun Trust & SECU bank, across the street from the post office. There is a map on the website too if you need it. They do routine medical stuff, lab work, surgeries, boarding, bathes, & so forth.



You'll notice we were voted this years best vet in the triangle.


We have a virtual tour so you can see the clinic (although if you stop by and ask for a tour they will give you one then & there on the spot if an employee is free to do so). We've always made it a point not to do tours only by arrangement (i.e. giving the clinic a chance to clean up first) & to take people around any time they ask to see what it is really like (except you can't get too close to sterile surgeries that are in the works).

We are AAHA accredited. Only about 15% of vets are. It means you live up to certain standards & practices & pass inspections & all that.
