All Home Games in Bold

NC State returns to their on-campus soccer complex in 2009, as well as returning all of their starters. This bodes well for a team that won 8 out of their last 11 games to end last season. Two of those losses were to eventual national champion Wake Forest. The Wolfpack look to be led by returning seniors Alan Sanchez and Ronnie Bouemboue, both of whom were selected as All-ACC 2nd team in 2008.

If I had school to do over again, gong to at least one game from every sport would be something I'd like to have done.

I wouldn't push your luck, but you can see the games perfect from the top of the parking deck, if you go as far to the right as you can when facing the field. I took my fold up chair and sat up there for every game I watched last year. It's softer than sitting on the concrete at the Derr Track.

i've taken a chair into the stands, just sit in the back row. the stands there are already a mile away from the game, I can't imagine being any further back.

and they don't even have event staff at the gate for half the games

^You can see just fine from the upper deck and no one ever goes up there, so take all of the airplane bottles that you want.

You know, it would actually be kind of funny to be at a game, look up, and see some jerkoff holding a giant red card on top of the deck.

^Now that is something I have been thinking about doing and hanging a flag on the deck during the games.

it was actually a really good game tonight. I dunno player names but #7 had a helluva game. I did get sick of #10? on our team constantly bitching to the ref about not getting a call. If you get knocked down and don't get the call, get up and help your team instead of whining to the ref

Pack beat Denver 4-0 in the 1st game of the Duke/Nike Classic. Scored goals 1-3 on corners and then the 4th was from inside the box. Game was ugly and physical the whole time. The Pack play Columbia on Sunday.

The game Tuesday vs Campbell will be a Student Wolfpack Club event, but the Saturday game vs Maryland isn't helping our team since the football game starts at 6pm and that means no students and casual fans unless they are parents of the team or don't care about our game vs Gardner Webb.

^Yeh that blows that the ACC/NCAA has moved college soccer to Saturdays. They should try to avoid having non-profit sports play on Saturday during football season. I always enjoyed Sunday 2:00pm kickoffs at Method Road back in the day.

We played really poorly for a stretch in the 2nd half, and then all of a sudden they hit the switch and cranked in a bunch of goals.

For those not going to the football game tomorrow, we have a huge game against defending national champion Maryland at 7pm. Should be pretty exciting as there is a lot of tension between Tarantini and the coach from Maryland.

tied the defending national champion in double overtime and would have one but our pk hit the side post. what a game, so exciting. we should have had the win, but still a respectable outcome

ACC matchup with Boston College tonight at 7pm. First weekend home game we've had other than the Maryland game which fell on the same night as football. It would be nice to have another big crowd.

Come sit in the stands right behind the goal and heckle BC. Everyone got in the Clemson keeper's head last night at the girl's game.

The new bleachers are temporary and were only suppose to be in place for the men's game vs South Carolina on Tuesday, but the company, or whoever we got them from, didn't come pick them up. Both coaches love having a student presence there, so hopefully the bleachers will still be there tonight and also the rest of the season.

send an email and tell him what you think about the bleachers. he's been at the last few games, i think he can see how much the students are getting into the team.

No need to send emails. Since there has been such a good reaction to having the bleachers down there, a permanent set is already being looked into.

Pack wins 2-1 in OT. BC scores 1st off a PK, we score off a PK in the 2nd and kick from inside the box in the 2nd OT period. BC saved our first PK and we had a goal disallowed b/c of offsides.

The bleachers belong to the city of raleigh parks & rec, they are trying to work out keeping the bleachers for both men's & women's soccer.

Game tonight against undefeated Wofford. The Terriers are 5-0-3. Should be a fun game with the messy weather. Also, we moved up to #19 with the two wins last week.

NC State 2 Wofford 0

btw, did anyone see that wreck happen at Cates and Jensen? It looked like someone was driving the wrong way down Cates and turned right at the fork and was t-boned.
