yeah these QR things are all over japan, right?

they had them on a lot of the ads for that upcoming movie "9" while at comic con. my friend scanned one and it was just a link to some trailer or something lame.

This shit has been out forever. I only use them to download cabs directly from http://www.freewarepocketpc.net

Inigma will read them for WinMo. I'm more interested in finding the best 2D barcode reader that looks up prices on amazon and such.

I don't expect they'll catch on in the US. Bokode is neat, but it's bulk is more than you can place on a business card.

i had some posts a little while back about how blackberry is pushing them with the new messenger.

it's a neat gimmick, i just don't see it being useful, unless i'm using the computer and want to hit an OTA link but i'm too lazy to type it into my phone
