Is there anywhere in town that carries electronics components now? There was the place on glennwood years ago and connect-it on millbrook, and of course Radio shack and their little cabinet.Any recommendations other than digikey for ordering one?

All sorts. People ask me to do minor electronic repairs all the time, and I didn't know if there was a warehouse of some sorts in the triangle. Never hurts to ask.I love those magnetic power jacks that Macs have now. Of course, it's 200freaking9, we should have wireless charging by now.http://www.witricity.com/

I've got a few good laptop power adapters laying around. Not sure off the top of my head what brands they are but I can look if you're interested. I also have various laptop parts from laptops I've had over the years.[Edited on July 25, 2009 at 1:58 PM. Reason : .]
