Booze prevents Alzheimer's. It's true. I wrote an article about it a while back:

So drink to your health!

How about you write an article on something that isn't based on completely fucking retarded assumptions.

Omg DFH 90 is my fave. Hops make me happy. Have you tried Bell's two-hearted ale? You'd like that as well.

And Peter, it was an assignment. I didn't select the subject matter. And it's a balanced article.

Thinking about making this:
Quote :
"Hendrick’s Summer Cup
1 lime cut into 6 wedges
2 ½ inch pieces of cucumber (English is best. Leave the peel on.)
¼ cup Hendrick’s Gin
2 tablespoons simple syrup (boil 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar for 1 minute and cool)
2/3 cup cracked ice (use a wooden spoon to crack each cube in your hand)
½ cup watermelon chunks
Pinch of Kosher Salt
Fresh Mint

Into a shaker, place lime, watermelon and cucumber. Muddle or smash with a wooden spoon until the lime is juiced and the watermelon and cucumber are smashed. Add simple syrup, gin and ice. Shake hard 6 times. Pour all contents into a rocks glass. Sprinkle with a pinch of kosher salt and garnish with fresh mint. Walk out to the twinkle lights and sit on a deck chair. Call your friends, tell them what you’re drinking, then cackle hysterically and hang up. Or invite them over. Your choice."

I'm drinking some fat tire to see how it is.

It's kind of like some other cheaper beers except it has the benefit of not giving me a headache or leaving a foul aftertaste. I think I'd rather try something else by New Belgium the next time I go looking for a new microbrew to try.

^^ I haven't tried it yet. He claims it's the best beer ever. I'm not generally a fan of saisons, but it's highly rated by Beer Advocate.

I also have a bottle of Lagunitas Brown Shugga, which is effin' amazing.

Okay then, new man is a keeper. Gifts of beer are great. Not sure I want to drink any other gifts. Wine, perhaps. That's it.

Unibroue is great. La Fin du Monde is a fav. And Ephemere is surprisingly tasty for something that kind of encroaches on cider territory.
