Andrew Bird is one of the best shows I have ever been tooIf you like his music, it is imperative that you see him live.
7/2/2009 11:16:48 AM
nice i want to go
7/2/2009 11:18:49 AM
is there a more hauntingly beautiful song live than Ethiobirds???i submit that there is not.
7/2/2009 11:26:46 AM
i would totally love to attend this. Will keep an eye out.[Edited on July 2, 2009 at 11:35 AM. Reason : -]

Don't you mean 'St. Vincent @ Cat's Cradle'?
7/2/2009 12:51:41 PM
I enjoy Andrew Bird live as well, but he is a total asshole. I saw him at the bar and simply said, "Enjoyed the show" and totally ignored it and rolled his eyes at the person he was with. I didn't ask for an autograph, picture, nothing. Sorry, A. Bird, but you're not nearly famous enough to be a dick
7/2/2009 12:54:10 PM
^that sucks to hear he seems like he would be a nice guy. oh well, i'll be there both nights. i've heard nothing but GREAT things about his live shows.
7/2/2009 12:57:08 PM
i would go if it wasn't $25. that's way too much for either of those artists
7/2/2009 1:59:58 PM
a dick? i've seen him 4 times, and he's probably one of the most cordial, respectful artists i've ever seen.then again, i'm not one to approach a guy after a show. because, i mean, that's hella lame to begin with.aaaannd, also, i've seen Ryan Adams 3 times, and Oasis once. So, the dick meter is kinda skewed, maybe.and, if people will pay $50 for goddamn Kings of Leon, Andrew Bird is worth every bit of $25. $30, even.[Edited on July 2, 2009 at 2:59 PM. i would pay $12.50 to see each of them seperately, so i am totally willing to pay $25 to see them both[Edited on July 2, 2009 at 3:08 PM. Reason : i think that sounds better]

Welllllllllllllll Tori Amos is super sweet. after her show in 1998/1999, we went near backstage to get autographs. she signed one for my friend then her manager pulled her away. she looked back as he pulled her away, looked right at me, and said "so sorry dear..." [/unrelated artist being nice story]
7/2/2009 3:37:26 PM
i've heard that some of the musicians i like the most are pricksi must be able to relate to them since i'm one too
7/2/2009 3:54:56 PM
man, whatever. he doesn't have to be a role model. i'm sure he gets "HEY MAN GREAT SHOW LOVE YOU SO BAD OMG LET'S TOUCH THX" about 800 times per tour. he gets to be human, too. i'd imagine that if i was well known at all for something, i'd quickly tire of "HEY MAN ENJOYED THE WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING THX". like, in a hurry.
7/2/2009 7:48:46 PM
why? i didn't take you for a dick.
7/2/2009 7:57:33 PM
i think what actually qualifies for "being a dick" is very subjective. it takes a lot for me to think someone is a dick. i'm not very sensitive.
7/2/2009 8:01:54 PM
I basically only listen to asshole-ish musicians.
7/2/2009 8:07:37 PM
zooey deschanel was a total cunt at lantern when she was in townshe's still adorable

10/8/2009 2:12:31 PM
this was my 5th time seeing him, and it was his best showing yet. amazing.
10/8/2009 5:17:39 PM
