So my sis and I have this site...and it's mommy shit so I know little about the actual products, but she knows little about web shit so it worked out. So now we're going to do a joint venture thingy with another company and basically I'm going to be setting up a site similar to ours except not ours I need to come up with an cost to put into a contract in case said joint venture goes bad. So basically, if we decide to part ways after the site has already been built and in use, what would I charge them to turn the thing over to them. In other words, not charging for things like hosting or anything because we'd just give em the files and tell them to do whatever they want with them.1. Install a basic shopping cart (Zencart)2. Creating a new website, complete with new graphics, some flash, and of course, incorporating it with the shopping cart.3. Modifying the backend shopping cart to have certain extras... (various mods...there are quite a few)4. Uploading all the products, images, descriptions, etc.I know it's a basic description but since I have to estimate all these things, I'm at a loss.... I mean installing a shopping cart takes 5 minutes, but one has to know their way around the admin parts of the site to do anything...and then to incorporate it with a entirely new site and make it 'pretty' can takes weeks.....? Any idea how I could even try to break down the costs of this?I need even a rough estimate...I mean if I were Joe Shmoe looking to set up an online presence for my store, what range of estimates could I expect to get for something like this?I mean what are highs/lows of what someone charges for a project like this? I'll PM the URL of our site if anyone seriously thinks they can help at all....Any help is greatly GREATLY appreciated.

Are you asking for the sell value of a web site you haven't created?

I'm pretty sure cost implies cost to implement. If she would have asked "worth"...

well.....yes.......Or....if I were to give them an estimate on how much it would cost to build it. If it helps, I can PM you the link to our URL and just assume that this next site will be along the same lines (in terms of customization etc)...
