How do you expect to sell a car with 5 words or less? Interior pics would be useful...Service history? Accident history? Length of ownership? Options?
6/27/2009 10:58:04 PM
^ that.and it's priced about $800 over NADA clean retail, fyi.http://www.nadaguides.com/usedcars.aspx?LI=1-21-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=21&p=1&f=5014&m=1201&d=675&y=2003&c=16&vi=51106&z=27615&da=-1&mi=88000

its a good car and that is what matters. we just want to sell it to pay it off. johnson lexus got her good when she bought it so I have to sell my truck too just to get her payoff.

sorry, just curious. i really don't spend much time on here as you can tell from my posts.good luck selling it though. you're not doing too bad though when you have a 6 year old car with 88k on it and can ask $13,500 for it. she must have bought a pretty good car with service history and the condition to command that price. if i was you i wouldn't discount it if it is in as good of condition as you say. might take a bit longer to sell it, but there will always be somebody that sees the value in it. nada is just a market average. although i would just advertise elsewhere.

^ Um, and why isn't it a good car son? It's an extra luxurious Toyota Camry, which is not exactly the worlds most unreliable car or anything.
6/30/2009 10:21:17 AM
oh, i don't disagree that it's a good car...i disagree that that's "what matters"...what matters is that value is determined by the buyer...if someone thinks it's worth $100k, then by golly, it is...if no one thinks it's worth more than $5k, then THAT is what matters
6/30/2009 10:42:50 AM
the price he posted was a decent price to start at. it's like tww is completely unaware of the widely used method of setting your asking price a little higher than what you actually want and then "letting" a potential buyer "talk you down" to what you actually wanted anyway so they feel like they're getting a deal.he has to list a price and $800 over NADA is a good place to start.

that is your opinionit never hurt to advertise some more. i know i check this place a hell of a lot more than i do craigslist.
6/30/2009 11:56:17 AM
ok what doesn't matter is fagmire02's opinion because he obviously isnt interested in buying my car. with that said, all of you tww folks that actually checked this because there may be some interest can carry on.
