I have a '06 Grand Prix GXP w/ monsoon audio system (6disk changer).

I'm getting an iphone and would like to be able to get an ipod interface kit so I can have it integrate with my heads up display and controls on my wheel. In all the research i've done, it seems like there are no kits for the monsoon system. Does anyone have this working with their monsoon system?

All I really want is an external input (headphone jack) so I dont have to use FM modulation. I cant find a harness for this either for my head unit.

looks like i'll be swapping to the new '10 model black bowtie radio with usb input, should be in the denalis and caddys, not available yet

^^ thanks! That says its only compatable with '05 grand prix. Is it just an outdated page/manual? I assume the gm 6disk with integrated xm did not change much from '05 to '06?

I bought a USA Spec adapter for my 350Z and it worked great for a little bit then shit the bed (I think due to overheating).

It might have been just a defective part, but I highly suggest ordering one from one of their "authorized retailers" just in case the same happens to you.

take a look at crutchfield.

they have most everything and give simple instructions and provide the wiring/mounting adapters ususally for free.
