This thread, though it was created in Classifieds, now resides in Chit Chat because, with the comment from synapse that "i think theres a thread for tech deals in tech talk..."

Yes, that's right, he moved a thread regarding a improperly listed item to Chit Chat because he thinks there's already a thread in Tech Talk

You can find people selling valve stems, used hygiene products, and expired food in Classifieds. There are even multiple threads where TWW's resident hobos scam retailers out of free samples. It's definitely the correct subforum to post a great opportunity for scamming some networking hardware.

I have already contacted WRAL and the NAACP regarding this clearly discriminatory moderation, and in fact both bodies are well aware of TWW's role as a cesspool of racial intolerance. With the cooperation of the media, NAACP, and ACLU I hope that TWW can come to understand that intolerance and bigotry such as this will not be accepted in our society.

I'm making a big deal out of nothing (admittedly) because of the glaring incompetence

The tech deals thread is so far from commonly accepted practice that I almost can't bump it -- nobody's posted to it in about 85 days.

There are several threads in similar veins that have been accepted in Classifieds for quite a while.

You didn't move the thread to TT, or CC the Tech Deals thread, or do anything constructive. You shat on the thread, which was clearly a well-intentioned announcement to the community, and then tossed it to Chit Chat.

You know, I think synapse pretty much sucks at life and seems to be the poster board for every nerd stereotype imaginable, but that thread absolutely did not belong in Classifieds.

WHAT WERE YOU SELLING? If anything, you could have made it in Tech Talk as a new thread because it was such an extraordinarily good opportunity (if it works out) that it didn't need to be buried in the deals thread.

As a matter of fact, assuming my buddy in Germany is able to snag a couple of these to resell (and I think he'll probably give me a cut of that for bringing it to his attention) then I applaud synapse for moving it because I doubt I would have seen it in Classifieds
