It means he is still driving it and is still putting miles on it$1000Does the A/C work?[Edited on June 10, 2009 at 11:50 PM. Reason : A/C]

A/C works greatAfter I got the car on 2008, it cost me more than $1000 on timing belt, water pump, tires, CV axles and brake pads. So $1500 is more reasonable for me...I sell the car because I graduated and will leave Raleigh next month. The car works well for me.

just b/c you spent that much on repairs doesn't mean you'll get it back when you sell it.[Edited on June 11, 2009 at 12:48 PM. Reason : i will say that new tires and a timing belt are CRUCIAL though.]

You are right. So for the total price of the car, I just ask for $1500. I already spend triple money for the total cost of it. I don't think I ask for a high price....

I search on the KBB.The KBB price (blue book private value) is $3340 (excellent)$2990 (good) $2540 (fair).

^^ Meh. It's a $1500 car with relatively low miles and working A/C. You'd be surprised at just how many miles you can get out of a failing transmission if you dump some Lucas in there and drive it easy. Besides, rough shift could be a number of things. I'd be more concerned if it was slipping. Theres a pretty good chance someone could buy this car, make it through college on it, and still sell it for $1000 when they're done with it. Too many people today want something for nothing.[Edited on June 12, 2009 at 1:08 PM. Reason : l]
