So, I got lazy and was almost exclusively using Tigerdirect.com's store for a long time. Unfortunately since they've decided to take the store "upmarket" and rename it CompUSA (complete with overpricing) I'm at something of a loss for local places to get computer parts.

There's Intrex of course, but what are the other decently priced local computer shops? If there's already a thread addressing this that would be great, but the only ones I found searching are a few years old and just said "Got to Intrex and Tigerdirect.com's Store"

i don't think you'll get a different answer. most people order everything online, and newegg more often than others. i dont know about decently priced but theres one south of the beltline...think its called anything pc.

sucks about tiger direct, that was a good place to get stuff when (and only when) online ordering wasn't an option

Yeah, I was afraid of that. And I suppose it's good that online buying doesn't give me the same "wander around and buy something on impulse" problem, since there's always the knowledge that you're still going to have to wait for what you get.

I was just hoping for some decent local place. Ah well.
