what's free/really inexpensive but is functional? I don't do a whole lot of web work, but I'd like something better than amateur html coding. This is just for personal/non-commercial use.

So you're familiar with HTML/CSS? What sort of site are you trying to build? Are you looking for a WYSIWYG editor? Please don't be looking for a WYSIWYG editor.[Edited on June 3, 2009 at 9:29 PM. Reason : ]

^^somewhat familiar with html, nothing else. I've been doing everything in notepad - just straight basic html. I just like to keep a webpage update for different activities, etc (I use it for sales sometimes, and link tww/facebook/etc to it; I use for events I'm hosting so people can visit a wepage with all of the info.I'm just looking for something to help with the coding/design. It would be hosted on NCSU's www4 server. ^^would that work with ncsu's hosting? as in, I can define what the homepage, links, sources, etc need to be so they'll show up? You want an editor: notepad++You want a resource: w3schools.comI realize this probably isn't very important work, but I'd stay clear of anything that generates markup. You'll have a much easier time learning and it will be far easier to edit later. Plus it'll be more future-proof, though that probably isn't a big concern.
