how much does it cost to ban a product?[Edited on June 3, 2009 at 1:03 PM. Reason : note: i don't care one way or another if this gets banned.]

the cost being the wellfare of those who might have used it to quit.

Nothing wrong with a little vaporizing son. Nothing wrong with that at all. What is wrong, perhaps, is the fact that you don't know what it is you're vaporizing. :-/

I dont know how useful it is in helping smokers quit, but from the discription i think it would be pretty handy. The agument that the chinese produce cheap, dangerous shit is not invalid, but the argument that hurr kids gonna use dem is pretty fucking dumb.

I... kind of want one now

^ Me too. And I've only smoked maybe half a pack in my entire life. And I didn't enjoy a moment of it.

^^^ I don't even know that the argument that the chinese produce cheap shit is valid. We use a lot of products in this country that are already made in china, and many that could be potentially dangerous (like various power supplies for our household electronics. If someone can show that these nicotine capsules are contaminated or contain unsafe ingredients, then fine, go ahead and ban that capsule, but just because it's made in china is no reason to ban it out of hand.

Can you blow e-rings?

doubtfully. From the demonstrations at the mall in Cary, the vapor has very little consistency and evaporates rather quickly. You look marginally more stupid than when smoking a regular cigarette.

And you typically don't inhale vapor generated by power supplies. Well, technically you probably do some but not anywhere near as many ppm as these things.
