yeh, just pull the fuse. it also will stop the overhead light from coming on when the door is open (you can still turn it on with the switch though)

^^^ Ok, I had settled on this much because I could here where it was coming from by sticking my ear right up to the damn box, but without know how big it is or which side of the box it is plugged in to I have no idea which it is.

I tried looking and it's pretty hard to nail down just WJ info. The jeepforums mix WJ and ZJ together but I can only find info for the ZJ and I have no clue how much they share?

you cant just pull the fuse for the chime retards, its powered by the body control module, so if you like your power door locks, your car starting, your lights working, or the climate control, then thats not a good plan
