I assumed that I hated this show without having ever watched it. And then I saw the Sherlock Holmes episode. It's good for what it is; silly campy fun.

i really like how it pulls in obscure characters

oh, and that the new blue beetle shows up in it fairly regularly

I didn't think I was going to like it, but it's the Batman cartoon I watch most now. So far, just the right level of action to balance the camp.

Aquaman is awesome in this.

This is one of the few animated shows that graces my DVR record list.
Quality programming.

the bat-mite episode?

at first i thought it was gonna be meh

but then it turned out to be one of the greatest batman episodes in all of batman animation

the batman fanboy stuff had me lolling (totally reminded me of some of the GRITTY GRITTY people in the dark knight thread) and the duck tracy stuff was just gorgeous

yep

duck twacy, comic-con, batman:tas, batman movies, vampire batman, miller's batman, bat-dog, etc. all made it awesome

i like ace (mainly because he was awesome in batman beyond)

that episode fit a lot in there, it's hard to believe it was only 30 minutes

Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but it's certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots as the tortured avenger crying out for Mommy and Daddy.

And besides, those Easter Bunnies looked really scary, right?! Okay then--mutant bunnies are a go!

Holy shit, a version of Aquaman that isn't a complete flamer with useless powers!

I may have to watch this or something.

"I must say that I really appreciate the effort they are giving to restoring Aquaman's respectability. Being voiced by John Dimaggio does a great deal to help that effort, though.

Did you see the one where Black Manta enticed his brother into betraying him? And aquaman was all like "I crush you" batman didn't know what the fuck
"

seriously you guys. aquaman is a force of fucking nature again

Have only seen one episode of this, but casting R. Lee Ermey as Wildcat was pretty cool.
