what else do you need to make a 4 stroke run. this fucking lawnmower is kickin my ass. i robbed it from my dads house. hasn't been run in 8 years. i changed the plug, tore down the carb and cleaned, cleaned out the air filter, and cleaned out the gas tank. it gets fuel, it gets spark, and it gets air. damn this doesnt even cough or try to ignite. stupid push mower, it may be time for it to go to the dump. rant over. carry on.

you seem like you're loaded, why not just buy a new one?

[Edited on May 23, 2009 at 5:02 PM. Reason : will it hit if you put a little gas in the carb? bowl type or what?]

has it ever hit anything hard?

sometime if they hit something even without ending the blade, the flywheel key will partially or completly shear, causing it o fire out of time, pop off the top cover and take off the big nut and the washer on the flywheel and look at the key, you don't have to pull the flywheel off to see it

does it have any compression at all? if you spin it by hand, it should bounce back on the compression stroke

put the boot on the tip of your pecker, your tongue on the engine, and have someone pull the cord, if you blow your load, its good to go

lay it to the side and pull cord. see spark.

tonight i am going to go round 2 and see i did not do the first time. that is if i dont give my neighbor kid 20 bucks to knock out cutting the grass this afternoon. if that happens no need to faround with it until next week.

no . i even pissed the wife off by using her turkey baster as the fuel transfer tool .

strange problem. cant say i have ever seen this before. it is like there is an electric ignition that has no power.
