5/19/2009 8:45:53 PM

5/19/2009 8:46:23 PM
lol they didn't even show the balls being pulledPlease don't take Gerald Henderson at the 12th pick. [Edited on May 19, 2009 at 8:48 PM. Reason : df]

so blake griffin stays in Oklahoma?i dont understand this shit, how do they know people are assured top 3 [Edited on May 19, 2009 at 8:50 PM. Reason : ~]
5/19/2009 8:49:56 PM
through prior trades or something, who knows
5/19/2009 8:51:16 PM
it's in order by record for 4-14. if I team is skipped it means they have a 1-3 spot.
I think the lottery balls only pick the top three picks, so if you dont fall in line with your projected draft position, then you are in the top three
5/19/2009 8:51:29 PM
oh well thats pretty stupid, i thought they picked all 14 spots
5/19/2009 8:52:17 PM
oh ok, that makes more sense
5/19/2009 8:53:00 PM
well alright then. I was hoping for OKC if not the bobcats.
5/19/2009 8:53:43 PM
Blake Griffin to the Clippers::sad trombone::
5/19/2009 8:54:17 PM
sucks that livingston got fucked up, they could've been really good
5/19/2009 8:55:03 PM
so when do they make picks?
5/19/2009 9:04:25 PM
not till next month i think
5/19/2009 9:06:05 PM
Things don't look good for fells and they look even worse for costner
5/24/2009 9:11:54 PM
Have an article on them?
5/26/2009 2:00:53 PM
THINGS DONT LOOK GOOD FOR NC STATE
5/26/2009 2:21:13 PM
unless the team gets sold and MJ gets fired before the draft, the bobcats are definitely going to do something stupid.
5/26/2009 2:29:10 PM
^nbadraft.net has them taking Ellington, so yea, you're right.
5/26/2009 2:30:44 PM
lol i can't believe Costner thought he'd be drafted
5/26/2009 3:28:16 PM
^^ which means they'll take anyone except Ellington.Seriously, that site sucks at predicting who will do what.
5/29/2009 4:33:56 PM
I hate Carolina, but Ellington is going to be a good pro. Mark my words. The guy is quick as hell and can shoot lights out. He won't be a star, but he'll be a good player.Like I said in another thread though, if they draft Hansbrough, then fuck the bobcats forever.
5/29/2009 6:25:00 PM
they need a big man that can score...i dunno who that would be. probably hansbrough
5/29/2009 6:32:03 PM
Fuck that. Anything but that. They've already got Diaw ... maybe they could go with James Johnson from Wake. Always liked that guy.
5/29/2009 6:35:15 PM
haha. you know it's gonna happen
6/2/2009 4:00:14 AM
NBA Combine results are out. Some interesting numbers. We might have a clear winner in the Ellington vs. Henderson debate. Ellington is slightly taller, did 6 more reps, and had a higher vertical leap (surprisingly). Add that he's a much much better shooter, and it seems pretty clear to me.http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-pre-draft-measurements/[Edited on June 3, 2009 at 12:33 AM. Reason : ]
6/3/2009 12:28:47 AM
nice job by general greivous with ONE rep of 185
6/3/2009 12:31:04 AM
6/3/2009 12:33:55 AM
^^Yeah ... he had a rough day. Also had the lowest vertical leap it looks like.^Ellington jumped higher, did more reps, and ran faster than Henderson.[Edited on June 3, 2009 at 12:49 AM. Reason : ]
6/3/2009 12:35:07 AM
^^ henderson's "athleticism" is essentially his reach, since WE is taller, faster, and can jump higher
6/3/2009 12:41:43 AM
Just like how there is a difference between combine speed and game speed, there's a difference between these tests and what someone can actually do in a game.Ellington can't show superior athleticism on the court in an actual game. That's why he is going to get picked far behind henderson despite having better skills.
6/3/2009 12:53:12 AM
seriously. just look at Henderson's top 10 dunks from last year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikv-3KoXW_U . haven't seen Ellington do anything like that in a game.

blazers reportedly looking to trade up for curryhttp://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/105095-blazers-trading-up-for-curry
6/3/2009 10:46:17 AM
Wow at Blair being only 6 foot 5
6/3/2009 11:09:55 AM
^^Would Curry start at the point for them? They already have Roy playing the two.
6/3/2009 11:20:04 AM
Henderson showed MUCH more athleticism in college than did Ellington. Anyone who disputes that wasn't watching games. That said, I think Ellington's game translates better to the NBA. Henderson doesn't really have a position. He doesn't shoot well enough to be a 2 and he is undersized to be a 3. He isn't going to be able to consistently go right against equal or superior athletic defenders at the next level and pull up like he did so often last year.Ellington is really good at getting his shot and has incredible range. He obviously is more athletic than he showed at UNC and a lot of that probably had to do with their offense and playing Hansbrough and Thompson, two guys consistently on the blocks...** Knicks showed interest in Curry and also interest in trading up for Thabeet[Edited on June 3, 2009 at 11:21 AM.
