2002 GSXR 600

when on highway and running for about 15 min. starts to sputter like its out of gas and dying...when you hit the clutch it goes back to idle and runs ok...then you do it all over again after awhile.

sooner or later it ends up dying and I have to let it sit for about 15 min before it will run for a distance.

only happens maybe once or twice a week but its a bitch when it does happen.

plugs have all been changed, sensors tested and are fine...any ideas?

Maybe it is running rich and flooding out somehow? I don't know a lot about that sort of thing, but that comes to mind.
