I posted this in my buildup thread. I have assembled my downpipe to the best of my ability by mocking stuff up and taking it somewhere to get welded, but this last weld is going to have to be at least tacked on the car. This is 16 gauge muffler shop pipe (aluminized steel). You can see that on the left side the piping is flared so I could slide the last section in. The piping is sitting at an angle inside the flared section. A bit like this: =====/ with the " / " crudely indicating the slight angle of the second pipe inside the flared section.I also need a hanger welded on, but that will take only a few seconds. The car is in my parents' garage in North Raleigh, less than 5 minutes off the Falls of Neuse exit of 540. Welding with a gas bottle would be nice, but if I have to we can just use flux-core stuff and grind it down. I have a sawzall, work bench (with grinder) and a vice, but I don't have a truck for transport. There is a 220 volt outlet for the dryer nearby, we would just need an extension cord (which I don't have).I can compensate with food (no Angus Barn though) or beer. Thanks.

zxappeal has a 110v welder i believe, jeepman's setup isn't very portable outside the garage in its current shopping cart configuration
