When you get "high grade" marijuana, or marijuana with higher THC levels, you don't usually smoke as much as you would if it were lower grade. People (uhh, I should say - people on a budget) don't roll huge blunts with high grade, it's a waste. That's not to say that other people won't simply use the same amount for a smoke session that they had previously used for lower grade marijuana, but whatever.In any case, high potency isn't really a bad thing. Certainly it's not a bad thing for the smoker - it enhances the value of the drug. It's not like any "bad side effects" of marijuana increase with higher potency, whatever those bad side effects would even be. The anti-legalization crowd really doesn't have a leg to stand on at this point.

^Not entirely true. I see what you're saying, and generally yes, expensive weed on a budget is a no-no, but many people who smoke on a budget include at least some dank -- for special occasions, holidays, dates, etc.
