while a little messed up. i've gon eover it again and again. why is my student loan minimum payment so high on my variable rate loan? for example, when I run it in a standard loan calculator, one of my laons at $9,100 at 2.75 variable for 20 years my minimum should be about $49. However, through American Education Services my minimum paymentr is about 96/month. what gives? my rate can't varying that much

my minimum on $12,600 is $93, but who the hell would pay the minimum anyway, you'd pay ungodly amounts of interest over 20 years, i plan to have mine paid off by next year, which will be 2 years after i graduate

^sometimes it makes sense to pay the minimum...without knowing the rest of his financial situations, there's no way to make that blanket statement

haha actually the reason I started looking into it was because I was trying to figure out how much extra a month to pay to get it paid off within 10 years. I think I got it figured out now
