Hi guys,As you may remember, I posted an ad looking for potential orthodontic patients at the UNC School of Dentistry (no worries...I went to NCSU for undergrad!). I found a suitable patient for my program requirements, but there are still many dental students in dire need of an orthodontic patient. Removeable retainers (for very minor corrections) are $150 per arch, with braces around $800 per arch (for more extensive corrections). These prices are a great bargain as compared to private practice fees. If you are interested in having orthodontic treatment, or have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me! When you do contact me, if you agree so, give me your permission to forward your email and contact information to another dental student. If you are interested in orthodontic treatment, we like to see that you've been receiving regular dental care by a dentist, although, this is not an absolute necessity.

I need a tooth pulled. My terms are tons of N2O during and a prescription to percocet or vicoprofen after.

So I let someone do the boards on me in Feb. and to let you know these people are really supervised if you are worried about their lack of experience. It was very professional and these people take it seriously.I was pretty happy free dental work and my student gave me breakfast, lunch and an honorarium to cover gas & parking!

Wisdom tooth removal: go see your DDS and depending on case difficulty, he/she will do the extraction or (more likely) you'll be referred to an oral surgeon

Do you take dental insurance coverage?

the dental school doesn't deal with 3rd party insurance companies directly; we give you the statement outlining the treatment and you then get reimbursed by the company, if they cover such procedures

I've got a retainer that has 2 fake incisors on it. I don't know what that means for the students... maybe they could do a mold of my upper and then create a retainer with teeth on it I'd love a backup.OR they could make fangs instead of regular incisors

I still have a problem with paying students to experiment in my mouth.
