He was a good bat, no a great bat. He was a brave bat, a courageous bat; he was a true leader among bats. In his short life he achieved what so few of us can barely reach in our dreams. The memories he leaves with us have touched us all deeply and he will be a part of us forever.

I remember when he was but a small baby bat; oh it seems like just yesterday. Growing up together he always flew as high as he could trying to reach the moon vowing one day to do so. I warned him of the stories of Icarus and still he would not let his dreams die. I think all of us can learn a lesson from our dearly missed space bat. Never give up on your dreams.
