My truck was broken into recently and my garmin nuvi 250 w gps was stolen. My insurance company wants some type of proof i actually owned one so I need a label from the box or a manual of some sort. Does anyone have one of these (manual or box) i could have or purchase for a few bucks. pm me if you can help. thanks

where did you buy it from - you can typically get a receipt reprinted pretty easily if you have the existing credit card if it's a b&m store - online is even easier

bought it online at bestbuy.com. used my grandmothers credit card but now she has no clue what card it was so I didnt think they would be able to look it up.

I tracked down a duplicate receipt at bestbuy for a cash purchase I made over two years ago without even knowing the exact date. It's definitely possible, you just need to get on the phone with the correct rep armed with anything you can remember about the purchase.

The online confirmation email would probably suffice and they could probably pull that up just with her First, Last. It would be extremely easy if you could narrow it down to a couple of cards for them to search. The rep wanted an exact dollar amount from me to search for, but in the end I think we had to use store location, a range of about 5 days and the item number of the only thing I remembered on a muliti-item order.

you dont need to know which credit card. just have them look up your login info.
