Anybody ever had this happen? The half of my lower eyelid towards my nose on one eye is swelled up and tender and red. My eye isn't red or discharging anything. Any ideas besides obviously see a Dr?

How long have you had the eyelid swelling? It is probably an allergic reaction

~3 days. Doesn't seem to have gotten any worse.

It's really easy to get a Stye. That shit lives on our skin and is basically everywhere. Take a wash cloth run it in some warm water and put over your eye.

It is just strange because I have never had this happen before and if anything I have improved my personal hygiene. I will try the warm washcloth. Thanks for all the input.

A stye can come from stress too, or smoke, not just from dirt.
