Hey TWW, My hometown (tiny little place called Archdale, represent) is trying to get a YMCA built. They have it all started and everything, but the economy has caused a lot of problems. Kellogg's does a voting competition where they give money to help projects like this to the city with the most votes. I would be very appreciative if all TWW crew would help me out It's easy: go to http://www.frostedflakes.com/#/plant-a-seed/click "search for a nominated field" on the rightchoose NC, and put in zip code 27263Click "see more info" under the Archdale fieldClick "Support this field" You'll get a coupon and it'll ask for some personal information, but you can skip it. Also, you can vote lots and lots of times! Thanks TWW to all of you who go to the website and help me out, really

Thanks! They sure do. The've even cleared out the small lot for the building and started some leveling. The money for the project basically evaporated with the economy though. I was really excited that my little brother and sister would have somewhere fun to play when they get too old for playing hide and seek in the back yard.My dad is on the city council board running it. I'll see if I can get some pics of the place for you guys to see.

Where in Archdale is this being built?

I propose they use the money to build a fence around Archdale.

It's being built on 62, between (What's that road that connects Surret and 62? The one with the little airfield on it?) and Archdale Rd. off on the other side of the road from that little housing development there. Between the train tracks by what used to be the exxon station and the top of that next hill

Hey guys. My hometown is a finalist for the frosted flakes money for the new YMCA!That being said, the captcha and method for keeping up with votes is MUCH better this time. I think they are keeping up with the "vote once a day" rule by keeping track of the email addresses, which they require now. So I am gonna do a little manual labor here and post them by hand. What I need is a list of willing email addresses to use for the votes. Just post them here if you like, or go to frostedflakes.com and vote for the field in Archdale, NC!PS - I haven't gotten any spam from them on any of the email addresses I've used SO FAR.

Ok, this is taking a lot longer than I originally expected. Until I can find a way to get around the stupid captcha for this voting site, I could really use T-dub representing for me. I signed up for that spamgourmet website thing, so you can put in an email address thats anyrandomthing.dechadwe@spamgourmet.comI appreciate the help from each and every one of you who put forth the effort to vote a couple times, thus helping me look like a hero back home thanks
