I'm looking at something like the Dell 2409WA. its $499 though which is a bit pricey i suppose.

that ain't pricey. pretty regular pricing. it's easily to get boondoggled with all the crazy bottom barrel monitors out there.

my plan now is to find a used HP 2335 (same panel as a 23" Apple Cinema Display) IPS, 1900x1200. Theyre going for around $165ish refurbed and there is one in the local craigslist.

I'm looking to replace my 26" 1900x1200 TN panel monitor with 2 24" IPS monitors, preferably also at 1900x1200. What does TWW recommend?

Dell released their 23" IPS yesterday which is like $300, maybe 400? That is if you can live with an inch smaller (thats what she said)found the link.http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/13/dell-pumps-out-a-pair-of-new-ultrasharp-1080p-ips-lcds-asks-a-p/[Edited on May 14, 2010 at 12:15 PM. Reason : .]

When you decide to go with Dell, make sure you lookup coupons @ slickdeals. Saved me $100 when i bought my 24" a few years back.
