I don't know about the pay. I know they are looking for students, not professionals.

There are tons of iPhone/mobile dev houses out there. Just find one. They are insanely cheaper than anyone (student or otherwise) will work for here. They are ALL in India/Pakistan/Eastern Block.

Haha.

^^is right. if you want cheap, go that route.if you want a student, i'm game. i go to ncsu. developed a shit ton of in-house stuff for the iphone and was a cocoa developer for quite some time before that.

^^^from someone crying about piracy and intellectual property rights like it affects anyone you sure aren't shy about putting developers from your own alma mater out of workwtf sort of dickbag bullshit is this
2/28/2009 12:25:13 AM
^ spot on.
2/28/2009 12:41:07 AM
seriously! how dare he try to help the OP, what an asshole!
2/28/2009 9:29:10 AM
Outsourcing to India is a pretty mixed bag in my experience, it's debatable whether or not he's even offering helpful suggestions to the OP.To draw a parallel, it's sort of like going into Sports Talk before a State/UNC game and talking up UNC. They may be favored for the win, who cares, it's a huge dick move and has about as much place on a NCSU student/alum forum as attempting to drive business away from NCSU students to India has. ^yep, it's all about how close your relationship with the remote team is. If you are expecting to fire off some requirements and designs, then you will be disappointed.
