Everyone I've talked to today with XP (4 different people) say their internet isn't working, and their computer is going slow or not working at all unless they load it in safe mode. And 2 of these people mentioned something about logonui.exeMy computer quarantined some virus about the same time & I deleted it without thinking to check what the name was or anything.Anyone else experienced recent comp or virus problems?

Supplanter: looks like most likely you have Virut.n, although there are dozens of winlogon.exe injector viruses out there. If you got Virut, go ahead and format. Then run a scan on ALL you backup data after you get reinstalled and up to date on virus definitions. It's also very possible you guys got hit with Conficker, which has been making the rounds for the last month or two. It's also extremely nasty, but Microsoft patched it 4 months ago... too bad over 1/3 of Windows PC's never download security updates.
