A friend of mine is applying for citizenship and she has asked me to write some kind of a letter of recommendation. The only problem is that I don't know anything about what it should say, who it should be written to, if it should be notorized, what kind of information about myself it needs to have, etc. I have been unable to find anything online helping me such as a sample letter or guidelines. If anybody has any personal experience or knowledge on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That is mislabeled, I've already read all of that and its not a recommendation letter. Its an application to restore rights in Iowa after being convicted of a felony.

Did you read any of the other recommendation letters on that site? Rec letters are all the same. Just swap out "job" "position" "graduate school" etc for citizenship.
