fucking piece of shit software.how can i convince my company to switch to AVG?

Tell them it's what all the smart companies are running? Seriously though, our company runs AVG with pretty good results. Our Lead IT Admin runs his own update server from our ATL office and it does exceptionally well. The only issue we ever had was a large version update that caused a few failures, but that only took me 10 minutes to fix on most people systems here, and probably the same for him there. He even locked out the scheduled tasks so that the antivirus scans actually get to run overnight and people don't try and turn the damn thing off.

I have ran AVG pretty much 7+ years virus free on all my PCs. I have sworn by AVG forever but then i get in a room with 4+ other people who have ran Norton all their life and they are like "we should pay for it, free software isn't good"Then i proceed to beat my head against the wall and walk out.

AVG has gotten kinda slow if you have all those link/email scanning features turned on now...

i've been running symantec, avg, and nod32.so far nod32 is winning.

You know, Symantec makes quite a bit more than virus software...I'd say that some of there other software is far from shit.
