yeah, she'll most likely get a reality series or at least one show and then get a ton of free shit from it like jon and kate plus 8. They get a ton of free shit.

If i found out my wife was pregnant with octuplets we are heading to the "clinic" so that we will only be having twins. I do not care if she is the mutha fucking niece of the Pope.Nature or "God" if your beleif did not design people to have litters of children. Only with modern medical technology do most of the babies in such case survive birth in the first place.a[Edited on January 30, 2009 at 11:52 AM. Reason : a]

^^ nah, this is old news now. people only care about the first set of octuplets. The 2nd set will not get a TV show or lifetime supplies of dipers or whatever[Edited on January 30, 2009 at 11:52 AM. Reason : .]

she is trying to beat the duggers
1/30/2009 12:43:47 PM
Imagine, if you will, how k-razy it'd be if she had 8 kids every year...
1/30/2009 12:59:24 PM
but but but each one is a gift from god!
1/30/2009 1:03:39 PM
Why the fuck was she having fertilty treatment if she already had a couple of SIX kids??? If those octuplets were her first kids, sure, go ahead and bring them into the world... but she already had 6 kids, so why did she want more? And the father won't even be around...This is just wrong.Making kids is not a game. It is better to bring up 2 kids properly with love who would become good human beings and benefit the world, than to bring 10 kids who are half-neglected.She should be prosecuted for child neglect and child endangerment.

Apparently this idiot declared bankruptcy, and she lives with her parents in a 2-3 bedroom house:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/30/octuplets-conceived-throu_n_162571.html

Wait, why do you think the government is paying for her to have children? I missed the part where is says that. I am assuming they have health insurance. If they dad is a contractor in Iraq, he probably makes over 100k a year. If they can support the kids, then more power to them. Not something I would do, but last time I checked we did live in a country that values freedom.
1/30/2009 4:58:58 PM
I don't think the government should ever limit people from having kids... but they certainly shouldn't be giving them financial support. This was a serious mistake.

If this continues I see a baby limit happening like in China but maybe two children instead of one. This is ri-god damn-diculous.

I feel sorry for the older children. While already growing up in a fatherless home with a mother whose attention and limited money was divided among their other 5 siblings. Now many of the older ones instead of being a kid or teen will likely end up doing a shit load of nannying and care in order to help raise the octoplets. This woman is not only irresponsible but it seems neglectful and selfish. Lets also not forget grandma forced to help out and grandpa who is stuck going back to IRaq to help out Ms. Breeds like Rabbit

^^it's not their responsibility to police how many kids people have.
1/31/2009 9:58:20 AM
yeah, but it is their ethical responsibility to refuse service if they feel like the kids wouldn't be put into a good environment. Just like adoption agencies approve or deny an adoption applications, or how a bartender can cut a drunk off from the bar.

the whole thing is ridiculous. first off, the woman is 33 years old and has the following kids: a 7 yr old, a 6 yr old, a 5 yr old, a 3 yr old, and 2 yr old twins. and now the 8 babies.she filed for bankruptcy a year and a half ago and lost her "big home" that her father was telling the media that they're all going to go run off to. she is currently living with her mom and dad in their 3 bedroom home. all of them.on top of it, home girl isn't even married. her father is going back to iraq as a contractor to make some money to provide. it blows my mind that this single parent who already has 6 kids would choose to pay for IVF rather than providing for her own children. i mean i dunno she could have possibly gone and got them their own place to live. there's something shady about the situation......there's some sort of underlying agreement made between the doctors and the woman.

^ as much as I find it horrendous having that many children, at least they're providing a good home and such for their children. This case is wholely different....
1/31/2009 12:58:50 PM
^ i dont know if i agree with thatwhen you have that many children, how do you spend enough time with all of themthere are only so many hours in the day
1/31/2009 3:09:35 PM
I imagine that ^^^ family is able to live so well because they are famous and probably have sponsorships with lifetimes supplies of diapers and food and clothes and stuff. From what I recall, the father has some normal job, so they obviously have some other significant forms of income (inheritence, sponsors, trust funds, etc)
1/31/2009 3:28:04 PM
Yes, the Duggars (giant family pictured above who have a show on TLC) make money from the show and from donations by various organizations - not the govt. I don't see why everyone gets all grumpy about this. As long as the parents are taking good care of the kids, they can have as many as they want. Not my business. I do agree that the octuplet mom sounds like a dirtbag ]
1/31/2009 3:41:08 PM
^ well, it's one thing to be responsible parents and to raise a good family, and be reasonably self-sufficient (even though the Duggars aren't really self-sufficient, as it is other companies who are profiteering off of their own freakshow and sharing some of the profits with the family). However, in the bigger picture, it is simply socially irresponsible. The population of the whole earth is simply growing way too quickly, and the bottom line is the country and the world cannot afford to have familys with 10 or 20 kids. Yes, this is a one-in-a-million (or, one in 100 million) situation, but that doesn't make it right. Furthermore, the Duggars are overtly religious and anti-contraceptive, claiming that each child is just "another miracle from God", and if God doesn't want them to have more children, then she won't get pregnant. Even putting aside the religious foolishness, that's just simply a flase statement - if you keep fucking like rabbits, you will continue to have kids. End of discussion. God doesn't need to "bless" you with another kid to get pregnant - it's a pretty well known biological function that requires no devine intervention.

I think we all agree that this woman is mentally ill and probably a doucher. But let's not limit everyone's freedom to have kids based on this retard. America is supposedly a free country.
1/31/2009 6:23:16 PM
THEY TOOK 'ER FREEDOM RAWR RAWR RAWR this woman has 14 kids, all of them conceived through IVF, and she is living on welfare. Maybe Spiderman's mantra should have been "with great power freedom comes great responsibility"
1/31/2009 6:37:06 PM
1/31/2009 6:49:44 PM
it's one thing if you're financially sound or keep having children naturally, like the Duggars (i, personally, still don't think it's right, but also don't agree with an arbitrary limit). But this woman has had at least 7 successful IVF treatments, accounting for 14 kids. It's not unreasonalbe for an IVF clinic to be allowed (or required) to allow or deny IVF treatments, just like adoption agencies do when looking at prospective parents.

according to this article, she is already on welfarehttp://tinyurl.com/aeftq6so who do you think is goign to pay for the 46 physicians and staff it took to perform the deliveries. and forget about the estimated $100,000 for each kid's expenses until they're 18.
