Wondering if any of you guys had any ideas for some different, unique fantasy baseball league setups? Not looking for something like NL only or add a second catcher to the team, but something different in scoring or how the teams are drafted...we just want to shake things up in our friendly league this year

no ideas?a setup we're currently looking at is to grant points only for negative stats (like errors, gidps, walks by pitchers, stikeouts by batters, etc)...kind of a league of ineptitude

I like mlb.com's fantasy where you draft an entire pitching staff instead of individual pitchers.

We were thinking of trying something where you draft a teams entire lineup or pitching staff. Then at the ASB we would have a reverse draft where you could switch out one team in reverse order of the current standings. If your team trades you have to trade, etc. We are still trying to figure out how to fine tune it, but i think it might be interesting.

I think that would kind of hinder the point of fantasy baseball which is too root for random guys on random teams just because they're on your fantasy squadI mean I would never watch a Oakland/Seattle game unless I had Matt Holiday, Felix Hernandez, etc. on my teamIn your set up you lose that aspect of the game

^MLB Package through MLB.com FTWI got it originally to watch all the Mariners games. I also ended up watching all the innings where my pitchers were throwing then I'd switch it to another game when my batters were up.I canceled after a couple month when the Mariners fell out of the playoff race and it wasn't worth staying up until 1 am to watch them lose.

^^ Oh I know, I've become huge fans of certain players due to fantasy baseball. I follow each player on my team religiously. This was just an idea we came up with to have another league with some variety.
