I always think its interesting to see the path some coaches take.You've got Jim Caldwell, who couldn't hack it at Wake Forest (but honestly, that's a pretty tough football gig)...and had that interesting situation with CJ and Chris Leak.Now he's going to be the head coach of probably one of the top 5 QBs of all time, and also inheriting maybe a top 5 NFL team that one a Super Bowl two years ago.

Wow, that's a bit surprising he stepped down. I know he hasn't had much luck in the post season recently... but damn. Was it a "forced" resignation, or is he done with coaching for a while or what?

it wasnt forcedhe's been saying for a while that he was thinking about retiring so he and his wife could focus more on their christian missions
