I have a HP LaserJet 1200 Series printer, It is a little old but it worked fine until this morning. Now the printer will no longer take in paper. You can hear noises and it sounds like the printer is trying to load the paper, but nothing happens. I tried pretty much everything I know, but the paper just doesn't go into the printer. I opened the printer up and did not find any paper jams. The ink is full and the USB things works fine, Is there anything I can check or maybe something I overlooked? HELP

Is it possible that the paper pick-up is covered with a light coating of dust and can't "grip" the paper? Just a random guess, because I've seen inkjet printers with top loading paper feeds with this problem.

how long have you had this printer?because if it is longer than one year, you have already exceeded the expected life of the machine
