I disagree with all of them. We have a justice system for a reason. I am assuming they were all given fair trials. You are street racing and kill someone? Why do you deserve your sentence reduced? If it was self-defense in a domestic situation, that should be something brought up at trial, or re-trial. Not just a letter sent from a judge saying there was "some" evidence that it "may" have been self-defense. Pardons and reduction of sentences should be reserved for when there is a glaring miscarriage of justice.

^Exactly. Guilt is supposed to be placed only if there is no "reasonable doubt." If there's enough evidence for a judge to be compelled to write to the governor, there's probably some reasonable doubt involved. Also:
