Anybody know of any good ones in Raleigh? I am going to become a landlord on my townhouse so I'd like to speak to one about renting.

What are you gonna ask them? I've rented a couple places and haven't talked to one, didn't need to. You can get all the lease agreements and everything online.

Do the online lease agreements cover you if the tenant's actions result in thousands of dollars in PROP related fines? That's why a local real estate attorney is worth your money.

you might actually need to see a contract law attorney for that.

That's why I asked what he wanted to ask them... I don't know what "PROP related fines" are.

A few reasons I'd like to speak to one. First off, peace of mind. Second, to make certain that I have covered all my bases from a liability standpoint. Third, to discuss fair housing laws, which I know are an issue now for a lot of landlords turning people down, not having proper documentation for it and getting sued.
