I got the Scoop (because I'm not paying for a data package that you have to have with most 'better' phones while I'm in grad school) and have a question about ringers. I made my own audio that I want as my ringtone. All I've had for the past 5 years were LGs, and this one is similar in many ways, but I can not figure out how to make it my ringtone! Can anyone enlighten me?Also, with the Razr V3, same thing. I got it for my Dad (it has big buttons) and made him an audio, but can't get it to be a ringtone.Any help would really be appreciated!

alltel/verizon? you're pretty much out of luck...those fuckers took away the ability to do that in firmware releases from february 2008 and laterin my case, i threw enough of a fit and threatened to file a complaint with the FTC (because i bought the MOTOROKR Z6m, which advertised the feature, and then they took it away with an update) that they refunded the ~$100 that the phone cost (customer service also told me that it was an FCC mandate that they remove the feature...which is, of course, a crock)[Edited on January 6, 2009 at 9:18 AM. Reason : look into seem edits for the RAZR, though]
