What are the mods views on this?I'm sure some do it on accident, most do it on purpose. I'm not really against or for it, just kind of curious. I don't want to get suspended for doing it on accidentThis has been a big business presentation.

can there be one "official" thread for it and then suspend if anywhere else?[Edited on January 4, 2009 at 10:52 PM. Reason : if more than 2 in a row]

I'm sure if you do it on purpose people will figure it out.Pretty much clicking 'Post Reply' or 'Post Topic' more than twice when trying to post should be a good giveaway.

it means doing the double post trick on create thread rather than reply to thread. thus ending up with multiple copies of the same thread

So is double posting a suspendable offense or not?I'm just wondering which way the wind is blowing today, I suppose.

every once in a while you can have an honest double post - but if it's habitual and anymore than 2 posts in a row it is more than an accident from what i've seenwarned once then suspended imhoi'm referring to the same post duplicated - not posting back to back with different text on purpose - although they are both annoying ]]

^ i agree with that

I just know that it's not a suspendable offense to purposely spoil the endings to popular books, movies, and TV shows. Lord knows why it's not. But I do know that you mods hate you some double posting (sometimes), so I decided to try to get that asshole suspended on what I consider to be a technicality. Oh well, life goes on and yet again, Stupid has prevailed.
