i never really understood that site. who gets to vote, anyone or just he paid critics? i usually don't check it until after i see a movie. that's true of most reviews though, i don't want my first impression to be tarnished by someone else's opinion.

It's just an amalgamation of all critic reviews.They don't really "vote" it's just that the site takes a review, determines whether it's positive or negative, and adds the review to the total fresh/rotten score.

i find that i actually do agree with the percentages of their total freshness ratingsfor example i really did enjoy transformers 57% of the time
