if by 350, you mean 370, then yes, it does.

I'd still take the Bimmer. Almost identical performance, but it seems much more practical.[Edited on December 16, 2008 at 11:51 AM. Reason : s]

I'd take the 135i. The 350z has had some major issues/concerns that still yet to be resolved it seems. I'd hate to buy a 370z and gamble on if they've fixed the oil consumption and gearbox/clutch assembly issues...

Thing is, the 370z is an attractive car, and the 135i is short and stubby-looking.

which one handles better??Usually Americans are short sighted and after watching NASCAR only judge a car by sheer horsepower

^^ well that too, but reading is more convenient to get a quick answer.

^True^^ Looks wise, the Z wins. I'm sure driving wise, the Z is a little bit more fun than the 135i. However, from an ownership point of view, I'm going to bet the 135i is more "reliable" of the two here. Nissan has had a few issues that I'm not comfortable with recently and I've yet to see any solution to them... Don't discriminate on the 135i just b/c of it's looks. At least drive the damn thing first Pat.

I don't care how that car drives, it looks like a Hyundai Elantra!I'm well aware of the problems suffered by the 350Z (my friend has a 2003 on its 3rd transmission) and I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have solved the problem by now.

Women love the 1 series. I've seen at least 6 driving one. No men so far.

Nissan has revised the Z's manual transmission three times. First was for the synchros, then vibration, then vibration again.Im sure the Z will be more reliable than a BMW, especially in the long run when the warranties run out.My G35 has only been to the dealership for a broken cup colder spring and it has 82k miles on it. I feel stupid for paying almost 2 grand for the extended warranty
