I need a transmission jack, floor type, with a good reach. Anybody got one?

i think matt or dan has one floating around, i had some bars welded to a regular jack pad around crf somwhere too i think

I got a jack pad type. Slips in the hole for the standard jack pad on a fullsize floor jack. It's at Matt's.

^I had to do that for my AW4 swap, definately sucked.. especcially getting SOAKED in tranny fluid.

Putting a piece of plywood supported by 2x4 worked decently well.

i've got one of those cheap/worthless scissor type ones that harbor freight sells. you're about as well off just using a floor jack, but you can try it if you want. it's actually not too bad for just pulling one out, but using it for installation is futile.

^pssshh, at least that's an aluminum case. try manhandling an nv4500 in and out, now that's fun.
