Interesting, but sad. I enjoyed watching this on HBO. Gates was recruited by NC State, but picked Marquette.

arguably the best film of the '90s

it's three hours long but it certainly doesn't feel like it because it's so easy to get sucked in

everyone should watch it at least once

the booklet for the criterion dvd talks about bo and curtis

Yeh, I agree that it is one of the better films of the 90's. When I started watching the first time on HBO about 10 minutes after it started I couldn't stop even though I hate long movies.
